As the founder and Executive Director of the Trauma & Grief Institute (TGI), Krista is dedicated to creating a supportive, evidence-based environment for individuals and professionals seeking healing from trauma and grief.
With extensive experience in psychotherapy and trauma-informed care, Krista helps clients build resilience and move toward growth. Her areas of expertise include trauma-informed therapy with a focus on EMDR and SSP, training, wellness events, and leadership in mental health. She offers clinical consultation through an attachment and polyvagal lens, including the AIP model. Krista is also the author of Over the Rainbow and Self-Care Moments, two resources designed to support readers through grief.
Krista is currently expanding TGI’s services to include psychotherapy, professional development, and wellness retreats and workshops aimed at supporting personal and professional well-being. Through these programs, Krista strives to empower individuals and practitioners to connect, heal, and thrive.
