Therapist

Breathwork & Reiki Facilitator

Krista Helman is a social worker, EMDR therapist, Reiki Master, and the founder of the Trauma & Grief Institute. She specializes in trauma recovery and grief integration, helping individuals and groups find balance, connection, and renewed purpose after experiencing loss or other adversity.

In addition to her clinical practice, Krista leads restorative retreats and active breathwork workshops that blend mindfulness, somatic awareness, and guided reflection. A frequent education facilitator and conference speaker, she shares her expertise on trauma, grief, and healing practices across Canada. Krista weaves evidence-based guidance with human intuition, encouraging participants along the journey from insight into embodied transformation.

Michelle Featherstone

Transformational Coach for Women

Fitness & Yoga Instructor

Michelle is a Transformational Coach for Women and certified Yoga Instructor, dedicated to helping women create clarity, resilience, and confidence in every stage of life. Through her work, she blends over 20 years of coaching experience with her extensive yoga teacher training to guide others into alignment—body, mind, and spirit.

 

Her yoga journey began as a personal practice of healing and self-discovery, evolving into advanced teacher training in Yin, restorative practices, and mindfulness-based approaches. Michelle’s classes combine breathwork, meditation, and intentional movement to create deeply grounding and transformative experiences.

 

As the founder of Living Aligned, Michelle supports women navigating transitions and stepping into leadership with purpose and ease. Her mission is to help women rise, expand, and live fully aligned, both on and off the mat.

 

At retreats, Michelle is known for her calming presence, soulful guidance, and her ability to create safe, nurturing spaces where women feel supported to explore, grow, and step into their fullest selves.

Make your payment by e-transfer to retreats@lehlewa.ca.
You may pay in full or in instalments.
You must include your full name and the retreat date in the e-transfer notes.

Your banking records serve as proof of payment.
Once your balance is fully paid, you will receive a confirmation of registration.

Complete payment on time:
All balances must be paid in full at least 4 weeks before the retreat to keep your spot.

Who is providing accommodations?

Accommodations are provided by Lehlewa Lakeside Retreat, which is the host facility.

Who is running the retreat program?

The Trauma & Grief Institute (TGI) provides the programming, which includes workshops, group activities, and healthy meals as part of the retreat experience.

Who do I contact with questions about payments?

Payment questions should be directed to the retreat registration email: retreats@lehlewa.ca. This address is monitored for all retreat payments and instalment arrangements.

What does my registration fee cover?

Your registration secures your spot in the retreat program facilitated by TGI. As part of the retreat experience, accommodations are hosted by Lehlewa Lakeside Retreat, and healthy meals are included within the program schedule. While payment is collected together for simplicity, accommodations remain the responsibility of the retreat facility, and TGI is responsible only for programming.

How do I register and make payments?

Email TGI at hello@traumaandgrief.com to secure your spot in the retreat. Payments are then accepted only by e-transfer to the retreat facility owned email address: retreats@lehlewa.ca

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Participants may make payments in instalments by e-transfer to retreats@lehlewa.ca. Please include your name and the retreat date in the transfer notes so your payments are properly tracked. Your banking records are your poof of payment and you’ll receive a confirmation of registration once your balance is fully paid. Payment must be made in full 4 weeks prior to the event. Failure to do so may result in loss of particpant spot.

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to be fair and transparent with refunds.

  • Cancellations received more than 4 weeks before the retreat will receive a full refund of the amount paid.

  • Cancellations received between 1 and 4 weeks before the retreat will receive a 50% refund of the amount paid.

  • Cancellations received less than 1 week before the retreat are non-refundable.

Refunds will only be issued in the exact amount paid (e.g., if you paid in instalments, you will be refunded based on the instalments received up to that point).

To secure your place, all balances must be paid in full at least 4 weeks prior to the retreat start date. If full payment is not received by this time, the registration may be cancelled without refund. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure payments are made in full.
