Evidence-Based Therapy Services

Some examples of the approaches we offer:

Address symptoms of trauma & loss such as intrusive images, hypervigilance, emotional numbness, & avoidance.

EMDR involves the use of talk therapy and dual attention stimulation such as eye movements, hand buzzers, or tapping. Other modalities and protocols such as EMDR-GRIEF, talk therapy, parts/ego state work, narrative therapy, and mindfulness may be integrated.

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)

Through the power of frequency and sound, turn down the volume of your stress & auditory sensitivity. Based on Polyvagal Theory, SSP is often used as part of preparation for trauma therapy, but can also be administered as a stand alone.

This approach involves multiple sessions of listening to music with headphones, and can be done individually or as a group.

Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP)

Reduce the intensity of your ongoing stress response.

This approach involves the use of dual attention stimulation such as eye movements, hand buzzers, or tapping in one session. Booked as one session, ASSYST can be done individually or as a group.

Acute Stress Syndrome Stabilization (ASSYST)

Experience relief from sadness, and feel reconnected to your deceased loved one through a potential After Death Communication.

This approach is best after at least 6 months of a loss, and involves the use of dual attention stimulation such as eye movements, hand buzzers, or tapping. This approach is booked over two sessions close together.
