EMDR therapy involves countless decisions throughout the therapeutic process. When should you slow down? When should you move forward? When is an interweave appropriate? How do you know whether a client needs more preparation, additional targeting, or a different approach altogether? Understanding what you are doing—and why—is often the difference between simply following a protocol and practicing EMDR with confidence.

Drawing from years of experience providing EMDR therapy, consultation, and coaching within EMDR Basic Trainings, Krista will review key concepts, common challenges, and practical considerations for working with a variety of client presentations, including trauma, grief, dissociation, military populations, first responders, and children.
