What You’ll Learn
What is grief, why it hurts so much, and what to expect when working with bereaved clients.
Phase 1 intake considerations.
Phase 2 insights such as psychological first aid and EMDR readiness.
Phase 3-8 target selection to process all layers of the grieving experience.
Integration of potential After-Death Communication (ADC) in session.
Practice of the EMDR-GRIEF protocol throughout.
This evidence-based approach to grief work aligns with the AIP model and explores foundational grief theories. While honouring natural emotional processes of mourning, EMDR-GRIEF is designed to offer compassionate support and address grief targets effectively.
Who Can Attend
This advanced training is exclusively for clinicians who have completed an EMDRIA-Approved Basic EMDR Training.
