Feeling overwhelmed, depleted, or stuck in survival mode? This retreat focuses on letting go, gaining clarity, and reclaiming balance. It combines therapy-informed practices with restorative experiences such as sauna sessions, yoga in the dome, breathwork, and evening campfires.

Krista Helman
Social Worker, Therapist,
Breathwork & Reiki Facilitator
Krista Helman is a social worker, EMDR therapist, Reiki Master, and the founder of the Trauma & Grief Institute. She specializes in trauma recovery and grief integration, helping individuals and groups find balance, connection, and renewed purpose after experiencing loss or other adversity.
In addition to her clinical practice, Krista leads restorative retreats and Elemental Rhythm breathwork workshops that blend mindfulness, somatic awareness, and guided reflection. A frequent education facilitator and conference speaker, she shares her expertise on trauma, grief, and healing practices across Canada.
Krista weaves evidence-based guidance with human intuition, encouraging participants along the journey from insight into embodied transformation.

Michelle Featherstone
Transformational Coach for Women
Fitness & Yoga Instructor
Michelle is a Transformational Coach for Women and certified Yoga Instructor, dedicated to helping women create clarity, resilience, and confidence in every stage of life. Through her work, she blends over 20 years of coaching experience with her extensive yoga teacher training to guide others into alignment—body, mind, and spirit.
Her yoga journey began as a personal practice of healing and self-discovery, evolving into advanced teacher training in Yin, restorative practices, and mindfulness-based approaches. Michelle’s classes combine breathwork, meditation, and intentional movement to create deeply grounding and transformative experiences.
As the founder of Living Aligned, Michelle supports women navigating transitions and stepping into leadership with purpose and ease. Her mission is to help women rise, expand, and live fully aligned, both on and off the mat.
At retreats, Michelle is known for her calming presence, soulful guidance, and her ability to create safe, nurturing spaces where women feel supported to explore, grow, and step into their fullest selves.
Our retreats are hosted at Lehlewa Lakeside Retreat, which provides the accommodations. The Trauma & Grief Institute (TGI) brings the programming — a blend of workshops, restorative activities, and healthy meals that support your retreat experience.
Retreat facilitation is provided by independent contractors who work with TGI.
